1. Because any amount you give, no matter how small, will make a difference.
CRP serves the most destitute refugees, those who have no other recourse. A house visit by someone from our organization is seen as a kindness in itself, and any kind of monetary support–even a very small one–can make a difference between whether they have a mattress to sleep on, a blanket to keep their children warm, or even a roof over their heads.
2. Because the humanitarian toll of wars in Iraq and Syria is a very large one, and they need your help.
The violence that drove people in our community out of their homes has had great effect on them. You can help these people piece back their lives. It is a very worthwhile thing to do, and we are here to help them. Please help us help them.
3. Because we not only take care of basic household needs, but mental and social ones as well.
The activities held at our Family Resource and Community Center create a sense of community and a place for people to gather engage with each other, to learn, and to begin to understand and deal with their post traumatic stress. Help us keep our center going and to continue to provide activities and programs.
