UPDATE (DEC 4): We did it! We reached–and surpassed–our Indiegogo goal! HUGE thanks to all of you who have helped out!! We’ve got another 46 days to go, so we’re going to keep going. The more we raise, the more refugees can receive food vouchers this winter.
We are now trying to raise $3000 more–that’s $1000 for 3 months that we can use to feed an additional 85 people each month. THANK YOU FOR SHARING AND DONATING!
UPDATE (DEC 3): We have almost reached our goal to raise money to feed hungry Syrian and Iraqi refugees! Today is the day to reach and exceed our goal — today is GivingTuesday, which means that people around the world will give to charities as a response to our spending on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Indiegogo has pledged to give $1 for every $20 we raise today. But just today! Please tell all of your friends and family and spread the word!
Lastly, thank you again to all of you who have donated — we are forever grateful!
UPDATE: Wow! What a fabulous Thanksgiving weekend! We’re now at $3571 on our Indiegogo campaign. THANKS SO MUCH to all who are helping spread the word and donating to this campaign. We need less than $1000 to meet our goal 🙂
UPDATE: We’ve just started up Day 5 and so far we’ve raised $1125 of our $4500 goal. A huge THANK YOU to those who have contributed and who have helped spread the word. We’re asking everyone to SHARE OUR CAMPAIGN AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE to increase the chances of meeting our goal.
( Nov 20) We’ve just started up a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to raise funds for our food voucher program this winter. As you’ll see, we’re currently spending $1500 each month and feeding 27 families–that’s 130 people who are being sustained by our food vouchers every month. We want to make sure we can provide them with food vouchers all winter, and we’d definitely love the opportunity to add more families to our program.
Please take a minute to check out our campaign. More importantly, SHARE IT with as many people as you can! Right now, we really want to spread the word about this campaign as much as possible. Anything you can do goes a long way.
Thanks, everyone, for supporting our work. We’re so grateful for everything you do.
