Along with the many coats and winter packages we’ve distributed to families, we’ve also been giving out fuel vouchers. Most people in our community have small kerosene heaters, but we’d received calls in recent days from a large number of people with no kerosene. So Ghazwan–our ever enterprising volunteer programs coordinator–arranged with a neighborhood gas station to set up a fuel voucher system. After receiving a voucher from CRP, people can immediately take their jerrycan and fill up. This is just another way you’re helping keep people warm this winter–thanks so much for all you do!
