CRP is distributing coats and warm clothes (including hats, gloves and socks) to children this entire week. Each child receives a package with clothing, art supplies, a few small toys, a toothbrush, toothpaste and a bar of soap. CRP’s many volunteers are making this happen, and they’re quickly serving the many families who come by. This winter clothing distribution is our first–and we’ve got another big one coming up just as soon as we receive the supplies, which are expected early next week. A special thanks to Mercy Corps and Catherine Ashcroft for providing winter packages for 180 children–and to our donors in the Netherlands who provided funds to 30 children to receive warm clothes this winter. We continue to distribute fuel, heaters, coats, blankets and other items needed this winter–so thanks to all who have donated and made this possible!
