At a recent kids activity, in addition to the normal games and arts and crafts we were able to have an educational session about teeth care. This was made possible by the members of the Dhahran Women’s Group in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, who donated a generous amount of both toothbrushes and toothpaste. Brought to us by Therese Hartwell when she traveled to Amman from Saudi to volunteer and spend time at CRP, the donation made both the educational activity possible, as well as helped provide an basic necessity to many of the families that we work with.
Like most of our kids activities, this day was lead by the inspiring Teen Group, and so was the educational session. It was given by Sundus, further showing the maturity and leadership ability of the teens that participate in our community. There were over 35 children at the activity, all who were a part of the toothbrush and toothpaste distribution that accompanied the activity. We are extremely grateful to those who helped make this activity possible!
